- The Hexagon – This one-of-a-kind architectural retreat sits in the middle of an open meadow next to the Sea, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Suffolk Coastline it is beautifully remote. A dream stay for those seeking something truly unique.
- River House – An iconic Historic House which is the centre piece of Suffolk’s prettiest tiny Village (often closed off for filming period dramas) this waterside holiday cottage has amazing interiors transporting you hundreds of years back. Kick back and enjoy this five-star experience as you watch the lovely ancient Thames Sailing Barges majestically make their way to Sea.
- Spadgers – A delightfully quirky, snug cottage with a warm, welcoming feel. Its vintage furnishings, rustic charm, and peaceful setting in one of Suffolks famous Medieval Villages make it an unforgettable retreat. This pretty little Flax workers cottage backs onto fields and is close to two outstanding stately homes; Melford hall and Kentwell Hall.

Just round the corner from a lovely walk along the disused Railway line or a short walk into the Historic Town od Hadleigh where there are some great gastro pub, restaurants and delis. There’s something truly special about Suffolk – in Charles Dickens day school children attending boarding schools were allowed one extra day to get to school like children from Scotland, because Suffolk was so remote, in fact we had more connection to the continent and Hanseatic Ports than we did to London, which resulted in some impressive Castles to keep the ‘revolting folk’ inline. Lavenham which was a rich Wool Town entered such a decline due to change in demand and the Industrial Revolution completely passing East Anglia by that local laws had to be passed so that people would stop buying up the lovely old timber buildings and re-erect them in a home county.
Suffolk is a place where you feel a Million Miles from London although it’s only a 90-minute drive away. Ancient woodlands meet rolling meadows, tiny single track lanes meander aimlessly fooling even locals, where tiny villages suddenly appear lost in time and the sea hums a quiet, timeless song along unspoiled shores.
