Make the most of the long Easter weekend, from the 14th – 17th April, in one of our romantic cottages.
Suffolk is so beautiful over Spring – the picture of the Snowdrops above was just taken the other day.
Surprise your loved one this Valentine’s Day, with a gift of a short break in one of our romantic cottages.
Ancient beams, four poster beds, open fires, cosy nooks for relaxing in, beautiful surroundings and a warm welcome. The scene is set for a perfect romantic getaway.
We still have some lovely cottages to choose from for the weekend of 10th/11th February, or why not stay for a mid week break starting on Sunday 12th, or Monday 13th for a really special treat?
Take a peek of what we have on offer below, and here you can see the full availability for all cottages.
Boxted Hall is a a glorious 14th century moated manor house that offers a beautiful and serene setting as a wedding venue in Suffolk.
As Boxted Hall remains a private residence, the owners only allow one booking at a time in order that we can guarantee exclusivity, privacy and total attention to detail.
Situated in the picturesque rural countryside of Suffolk, Boxted Hall lies in the heart of a valley, obscured from the bustle of everyday life.
For wedding guests at Boxted Hall, many of our cottages, such as Spadgers and Romney, are just a short taxi drive away; so you can end the night and wind down in your own private getaway.
Happy New Year!
Christmas is all but over for another year… so if you’re feeling that it’s time for some recovery ‘me time’, we’re offering three nights for the price of two in January for you to come and enjoy it with us!
The three night weekend for the price of two runs from Fridays and is only applicable when the Sunday night is still available to be booked.
We love hearing what our guests have to say about their visit with us, the kind words always mean a lot. Here we round up a few from three of our latest cottages to join us: Endeavour, Rafe Hall Coach House and Angel Cottage.
Why not give something really special this Christmas?
Our holiday gift vouchers make ideal presents, as you can treat family or friends to a relaxing break away in one of our lovely cottages.
Earlier this month, we decided that we wanted to try and do something to help the sufferers of Hurricane Matthew in Haiti.
To help push for donations, we put up a short break at one of the cottages into a prize draw, with the only entry requirement being a donation of any size to this cause.
After setting out a target of £1,500 and reaching this in just 5 days, we were able to raise a grand total of £1,815.34 – 21% more than our intended target!
Chosen at random, Sherri Hunter was the selected donor who has been chosen to win a short at one of our cottages.
A big thank you to everyone who donated and congratulations to Shelly!

Hurricane Matthew has been a devastating storm causing significant damage and loss of life in Haiti, where heavy rain and winds of up to 145mph (230kmh) have been lashing the south-west of the country. You can read the appeal on redcross.org.uk
Seeing all of this devastation has compelled us at The Grove Cottages to try and do something to help.
I will be donating a short break at one of our cottages into a prize draw, and all you have to do is make a donation via this Just Giving page
— it doesn’t matter how big or small!
The winner will be picked at random on Thursday 27th October and invited to stay at Snow, Rose, Bakery, Farm, Dons or Orchard Cottage* for a 3 night weekend or a 4 night midweek break between Friday 28th October and February 8th 2017
Anyone who donates to the Red Cross appeal via my Just Giving page will be entered into the draw. The winner will be selected at random from those who donated and announced on our blog, Facebook and Instagram.
Good luck and thank you for doing your part to help the sufferers of this tragic event.
