Access Statement The Old Monkey
The Old Monkey is a self contain part of a larger Historic building dating back to 1210, it was at one time a pub called The Kings Head but locals called it The Old Monkey to distinguish it from all the other Kings Head pubs nearby.
There is a gravel drive outside to unload your car but parking is on the free parking road or in the quiet cul de sac opposite, you are on the edge of a small bustling Historic market town with countryside walks just 200 yards away.
This cottage is not graded in any special way for disabled use and all worktops, bathroom fittings, beds and chairs are standard heights.
It is not suitable for wheelchair bound guests due to the front doorstep and the very steep stairs.
Access via a gravel driveway up 4 stone steps within the porch to the front door.
Inside a small 2 steps down to kitchen and bathroom ( shower has a 7 inch step into).
Access to bedroom is through a narrow 27 inch doorway and up a steep short staircase with a right hand turn of three steps at the top.
