Ground floors brick with rugs. First floor twin bedroom boards with rugs. Double bedroom has fitted carpet. Bathroom has modern tiled floor.

This cottage is not graded in any special way for disabled use and all worktops, bathroom fittings, beds and chairs are standard heights.

Dogs are welcome in this cottage but are not to be left alone when guests go out.

There is ample parking in our private car park. The drive does go round to the outside of the cottage to enable you to unload right outside before parking in the car park. The car park and drive are gravelled.

The cottage has TV/Radio/CD/Wi-Fi and is completely self-contained.

A Welcome basket is provided containing ingredients for a traditional English breakfast.  Milk, Butter, Bread, Olive oil, Tomato ketchup and brown sauce. Tea, Sugar, instant coffee and coffee for the cafetiere are in the store cupboard.

There are maps and local information in the cottage together with Emergency numbers and local taxis.

Entrance directly into small kitchen with electric oven and hob, undercounter fridge with ice box.  Belfast sink. Opens onto:

Dining room with dining table for four (which can extend), three chairs and settle which seats two. Understairs cupboard housing hot water cylinder.   Oil fired heater. Off dining room steep cottage stairs leadto the first floor.  Uncarpeted. Hand rail.

Small step through the door off dining room leads to the bathroom. Antique cast iron bath on ball and claw feet, hand held shower, WC, washbasin, heated towel rail and overhead heater. Tiled floor. Storage cupboard.

Door to the sitting room has threshold.  Second half glazed door leads outside up a very small step onto the small courtyard/drive. The main door to outside is in the kitchen.  This room has window to the front of the property overlooking small walled front garden and faces the road on this side. Working Victorian coal range (this is not suitable for cooking). Oil fired heater.

Stairs open onto twin bedded room.  Two single beds. Stair gate. Window to the front of the property. Oil fired heater.

Door to:

Double room.  Antique Double brass and iron bed with canopy. This bed is slightly higher than standard. Window to the front of the property. Small high window overlooking the drive. Boarded floor with rug. Oil fired heater.

A gate enables you to close the courtyard off for your children/dog

Outside there is woodland and open space with picnic tables provided.

Off road Parking in the adjacent Private Nature Reserve – you can load and unload outside the cottages front door.
