Customer feedback that made our day!

Dear Mark……and team

We should like to express our appreciation, following a stay at one of your cottages earlier in the summer.

We are sure that people can be quick enough to grumble over even the smallest things, so we wanted to give credit where it is most definitely due !

In June we spent a few days at Cissy’s cottage and we cannot find the right “superlatives” to say how fabulous it was.

The cottage was everything we had hoped for and certainly lived up to the promises of the website…….and beyond.

It was the most delightful venue for us and our two dogs and an excellent base from which to explore Suffolk – our first “proper” stay there.

As we are somewhat land-locked here in Herefordshire, it was heaven for us to be so close to the coast (and the icing on the cake came when we were able to get tickets, very much at the last minute, for a wonderful concert at the Aldeburgh Music Festival).

Special mention must be made of Beverley and Martin, whose hospitality and thoughtful touches made all the difference to our holiday.

The cottage was charming and they had clearly spent a great deal of time and effort to create just the right atmosphere – and the perfect welcome.

We have stayed in many cottages over the years but we can truthfully say that we have never found so much care and attention to detail, and everything was thought of.

They nearly found themselves with squatters as we didn’t want to leave !

Particular thanks, not just for the obvious quality of your cottages (if we self-cater, at least we want to feel pampered !) but especially for the dog-friendliness of so many of them – always a “must” for us – and indeed we were spoilt for choice.

We look forward to booking with you again in the not-too-distant future.

Lastly, our apologies for not writing sooner – the last few weeks have been a flurry of activity and family visits, hence the delay.

Kind regards and best wishes. Lynne & Gordon – plus hounds, Molly and Basil Lynne and Gordon stayed at Cissy’s Cottage in Aldeburgh, near the Suffolk coast.

It sleeps four and dogs are welcome.
