Announcing Tiny Birch, a lovely little 16thC cottage in Nayland
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our gorgeous little 16thC cottage Tiny Birch, in the Dedham Vale, Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Sleeping two, this romantic cottage in the village of Nayland in ‘Constable Country’ is close to some of Suffolk’s prettiest countryside, miles of footpaths and is just steps away from the River Stour. So lots of opportunities for relaxing and getting away from it all, and you can bring your pet pooch too! Please enjoy our tour of this delightful cottage and we hope you will visit soon. One of Suffolk’s ‘Wool Towns’, Nayland’s historic houses and fine parish church are a constant reminder of the wealth that was generated by the cloth industry in the late middle ages.
The village lies in the Dedham Vale, Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Step outside the door of Tiny Birch and there are many opportunities for enjoying the great outdoors; Suffolk’s countryside at its best, with plenty of footpaths for rambling and country lanes for cycling.
Even the bathroom has beautiful beams!
The bedroom has an impressively high ceiling with ancient beams, giving character and romance to the room. The ensuite bathroom has beautiful beams too!
Lovely view of more beamed houses from the window.
Step inside this heavily beamed cottage and you instantly feel at home; so warm and cosy is the welcome. The wood burning stove, the squishy sofa and thoughtful touches throughout.
A cosy place to sit in the kitchen to enjoy breakfast, or if the sun is shining, pop outside the door into the secluded garden, to enjoy a meal ‘al fresco’.
A shady spot to sit and contemplate the important matters of the day: whether to open a bottle of wine and start up the BBQ perhaps, or go for a bike ride before settling down for dinner at the nearby village pub. Decisions, decisions…
Come and see Tiny Birch for yourself! Treat yourself to a stay in this pretty little cottage in Nayland or what about buying a gift voucher and giving it as a present? We also have a range of other, equally delightful places for you to explore on the coast and in the lovely Suffolk countryside.
