Pebmarsh

The Coach House at Rafe Hall

Pebmarsh is a small village and has a large village hall. There is a childrens park as well as a skate park with three ramps just a two minute walk from The Coach House.

Pebmarsh provides ample opportunity for walking through the beautiful countryside, there are many public footpaths.

The village pub is called The King’s Head and is just a short walk from the house.  It serves good home cooked food and real ales, the pub is a community 'Buy-Out' so is a real local with a great atmosphere.

A river runs straight through the centre of the village, called the River Peb and is where the name of the village ‘Pebmarsh’ comes from.

In view of the Coach House is St John The Baptist Church, a pretty church dated C14 and even mentioned in the Domesday records.

Pebmarsh has two very picturesque reservoirs.  One lake is situated in the centre of Pebmarsh Village.  A beautiful lake with plenty of fish for fishing.

There is also Prestons Lake a 19 acre lake with large stocks of fish and is open all year.

The Coach House is surrounded by farmland and a real farm which sells its own beef and lamb.  We also have the famous Bill Hadley’s ice cream just down the road.
