Coronavirus and what we are doing

If you are a Key worker or in a Vulnerable situation, then please call the office on 01787 211 115 and speak to us and we will discuss booking options. Other than that we will not be accepting short holiday breaks until at least the end of May.

We will be taking note of Government policy and amending our position as the situation changes.

For those guests who want to book in June and later here is some good news:

As a company we do not want to profit out of misfortune and have decided that should a guest at any time up to the arrival date, feel they are unable to come because of the Coronavirus situation, then we will issue them with a credit voucher for the full amount of their booking, to be used when they are happy to come.

A one off admin charge of £25 will be deducted for any changes to your booking including cancelling and Credit Vouchers

This overrides our normal cancellations policy of a full refund only up until a month from arrival.

This new cancellation policy is now in place until this period of uncertainty is over.

Owners will be paying extra attention to keeping often touched surfaces extra clean.

We would also like to ask for your understanding if our usual Welcome Breakfast basket does not have the normal eggs, bacon, bread, butter, milk, tomatoes & fruits in it, as some items may be too difficult to buy and have to be substituted and some cottages are actually no longer able to purchase the items to make up this complimentary gift from us - so if you book please remember to check with the owner what the situation is.

I would like to thank my loyal guests who have written so many kind and supportive emails - yes these are uncertain times but by acting selflessly and generously we will all get over it together.

Stay Safe.

Mark
