Snow Cottage Snow Cottage - sleeps 2

Snow Cottage is a single storey cottage and sleeps a couple it was once part of the farm dairy here at The old grove Farm and the 'Soldier' brickwork dates back to the 1700's. The main room has an old wood floor and an impressively high vaulted wooden ceiling. Snow Cottage is very cosy even without an open fire. Now converted into a cosy cottage it has an interesting mix of period and modern 'classic' antique furniture, which with its old highly polished wooden floor, creates a spacious 'loft feeling'.

Rose Cottage Rose Cottage - sleeps 2

Rose Cottage was once part of the early 1700's dairy here at The Old Grove Farm. Eventually converted into a cosy cottage it retains lots of character from its past, with it's high vaulted wooden ceilings, lime-washed walls, exposed beams and lovely open log fire.

Bromans Barn Bromans Barn - sleeps 2

This is a great place for a couple who want to explore Mersea Islands wonderful Nature reserves - you are on a farm that stretches down to the salt marsh nature reserves where seals bask. There are wonderful walks which will take you along the beaches straight from this very elegantly converted barn next to the pretty pond.

The Pump House is just outside the lovely village of Stoke-by-Nayland down a tiny single track lane, in the steep Box River valley with the Pilgrims Way running through its own water meadow  the setting could hardly be prettier.

Scrumpy's is ideal as a temporary home and we accept booking from a week to 6 months. Scrumpy's is a 3 bed-roomed barn conversion in the grounds of a lovely ex vicarage, it is also a great economic option for larger families to get away for a week or 2. The garden overlooks the pretty church (Bells only once per week) and both are perched on the top of the hill over looking the picturesque Brett River Valley. Close to Bildeston and Hadleigh and within easy reach of Ipswich, Sudbury, Bury St Edmunds and Colchester.
