Snow Cottage is an ideal little getaway, a romantic and cosy single storey cottage sleeping a couple Snow Cottage is a stylish conversion of part of The old Grove Farm. The unusual 'Soldier' brickwork dates back to the 1700's. The main room has a beautiful old wood floor and an impressively high vaulted wooden ceiling. Snow Cottage has an interesting mix of period and modern 'classic' antique furniture which creates a 'loft feeling'. |

This gorgeous tiny place is absolutely ideal for a short break as it has really everything you need for a really comfortable and stylish stay including a fabulous vaulted and beamed bedroom and elegant designer shower but it is (along with Snow Cottage, without a fireplace/wood burner) the least expensive of our lovely cottages. |

Scrumpy's is ideal as a temporary home and we accept booking from a week to 6 months. Scrumpy's is a 3 bed-roomed barn conversion in the grounds of a lovely ex vicarage, it is also a great economic option for larger families to get away for a week or 2. The garden overlooks the pretty church (Bells only once per week) and both are perched on the top of the hill over looking the picturesque Brett River Valley. Close to Bildeston and Hadleigh and within easy reach of Ipswich, Sudbury, Bury St Edmunds and Colchester. |
The Grove Cottages holiday cottages have many unique original features like 18th Century Bake ovens and working kitchen ranges, traditional Suffolk Brick floors, wattle and daub walls, 16th Century thatched roofs, massive Inglenook fireplaces, log fires, millstones and exposed beams galore and they are all lovingly restored and period furnished so that they are a joy just to be in.
The Grove Cottages holiday homes are situated in South Suffolk / East Anglia which is less than 2 hours for London or an hour from Cambridge and where the famous English Landscape painter John Constable was born and created such masterpieces as 'The Haywain'.
The Grove Cottages are available all year for weekend and midweek short breaks as well as weekly holidays and the accommodation sleeps from 2 to 6.
We are 4 star rated and provide bikes for our guests to explore the beautiful English countryside.
