Mark has seen Slow Worms in Polstead, and grass snakes are local too!

Buzzards nest a few yards from The Grove Farm. And if you drive along our little by roads in the evening the bats flit about like falling autumn leaves.

Mark can be seen out in the night clapping his hands to scare off the flocks of Screech Owls to stop them waking his children! Barn owls and Brown owls too can be seen along these back lanes.
