Wonderful Beskydy Mountain Nature Reserve

Beskydy Mountains are part of the Carpathians in Central and Eastern Europe, one of the most valuable ecosystems on the Earth that was included in WWF Global 200 list of world's most valuable and threatened ecoregions.

Beskydy mountains belong to Moravia and Silesia, eastern parts of the Czech Republic.

This region is protected by Protected Landscape Area designated in 1973. It is the largest protected area in the country covering 1160 square kilometers.

The Water Mill

This is a fascinating Water Mill which is about 50 minutes away from Tara Na Milna - The Water Mill is a wonderfully restored Water Mill and cluster of beautiful old houses. It is a short drive from Tara and you can hire bikes or walk the trails around this beautiful piece of living History.

Picturesque Stramberk

This is the beautiful Mountain Village of Stramberk

It has a Grand main Square with a great Cafe Society atmosphere, you can lounge outside in one of the many terrace bars and watch the world go by, some of the Bars have their own breweries and the food is very high.

The Waterfall walk in the high Tatras

These walks are a 90 minute drive into Poland from Tara.

A fab day out, there's a good restaurant a mile before Terchova Waterfall.

The perfect spot to finish off a perfect day.
