Our stay at The Stables was our dream weekend; we felt completely disconnected and enjoyed every minute of our peaceful retreat. It is located in a very secluded area and the cottage is really cosy with a nice fireplace and a really beautiful layout. We explored the surrounding are on the bikes provided and made the most of the pretty little towns around and the good pubs. Sara was very helpful and provided us with a lot of information about things to do, places to eat etc.
We spent New Year in this very cosy comfortable cottage. A terrific layout and another super Grove Cottage. We feel extremely rested before we head back to our daily routine. Many thanks for a a lovely cottage which we have been able to enjoy immensely.
Wow!! What a very beautiful, cosy, romantic cottage. We've spent a great Christmas here. Love the bedroom, the bed i so comfortable. Love everything - what a warm welcome. Thank you for the plant and Christmas card wishes, such a lovely idea. Had some good walks here and the weather has been good. Freezing at night and sunny days - love everything and have to come back one day.
Our second stay here as we also came in December 2014. Have loved it just as much the second time round. The peaceful location and the log burner are just what the doctor ordered for our 23rd wedding anniversary.
Our thanks to Sara for the warm welcome, the fresh flowers and the breakfast basket. We have really enjoyed our stay in this cosy yet special cottage, delightfully decorated. There is so much to explore around here. Enjoy exploring.........
Many thanks Sara for the welcome basket - a great start! The cottage is comfortable and well appointed. We have enjoyed this peaceful location visiting places that remind us of a much missed bygone England - Castle Hedingham, Clare, Dedham and Kersey. We also enjoyed a couple of footpath walks from the cottage, it reminds us of what being English is all about. Best wishes.
Such a beautiful cottage! Have loved exploring Suffolk from here and returning each day, it's been a real joy! Plus the scrumptious hamper and fresh flowers - very much appreciated. Many thanks.

We had a great time staying at The Stables last week. The accommodation was exactly as described with a generous sized bedroom and excellent facilities all round. It was a lovely quiet location handy for popping off to explore Essex & Suffolk. Sara was most friendly and helpful with great ideas for visiting and eating in the area.
