Scrumpy's Barn is a single storey 3 bed-roomed barn conversion in the grounds of a lovely ex vicarage, sleeping 5 and accepting pets.
There is a double a twin and a single bedroom with plenty of space for travel cots.
The garden overlooks the pretty church (Bells only once per week) and both are perched on the top of the hill over looking the picturesque Brett River Valley. Close to Bildeston and Hadleigh and within easy reach of Ipswich, Sudbury, Bury St Edmunds and Colchester.
The conversion is airy, clean with sunny rooms and an excellently well equipped and spacious kitchen.
The bathroom has both a bath and shower attachments.

There is lots of secure parking space. Sorry, bikes are not provided with this cottage.
There is a private patio garden to the rear of Scrumpy's over looking the river valley and direct access to a lovely footpath with pretty walks along the valley.
There is a tiny hamlet close to the church and the picturesque Suffolk village of Bildeston is about a mile down the valley road.
The Historical Market town of Hadleigh is a 4 minute drive away and has a good selection of proper old fashioned shops and a Co-Op supermarket.
Ipswich (which has all the shops you could want and a main line station) is a 15 minute drive away. Colchester ( also London Main line intercity station) is about 25 mins away.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. We found the cottage very warm and comfy. The rooms were lovely and spacious. The welcome pack was great as we had travelled from Aberdeen and we did not have to worry about finding basic food stuffs. We came in the lights and radio was on, a lovely welcome. Lovely peaceful spot with lovely views.
